Renewable energy is nothing but energy created with renewable resource such as wind, sunlight, waves, rain, tides and geothermal heat. Due to the Global warming and their causes produced by non-renewable energy such as fossil fuel, natural gas, nuclear energy and so on, the need for renewable energy has been increased. Even though, the cost of this renewable energy is high the most developed and developing countries were decided to switch over to this renewable energy resources for its environment and health benefits. Compared to non-renewable energy the quantity of electricity produced in renewable energy is less, since it depends on weather for its source of power. 1. Space Based Solar Power
Space Based Solar Power is an environment friendly and low cost renewable energy concept which has been researched since early 1970’s. The SBSP consist of three element such as solar concentrates, a medium of transmitting power to earth and medium of receiving power on earth. Using solar power satellite or solar power system the solar power in the space is collected and used in the earth this is the concept relay in SBSP. This Space Based Solar Power is a clean, green and safe technology. The satellite outfitted with solar panels will gather the solar energy for 24 hours per day and then converts it into infrared laser beam. The 80% of the converted energy from the satellite will be transmitted to the ground based receiver in the earth. These Space Based Solar Power are capable of producing 250 megawatts to 5 gigawatts of energy.
2. Nuclear Molten-Salt Reactors
Nuclear Molten-Salt Reactors is a cheap nuclear energy. Th early 1960’s the experiment for this Molten-Salt reactor was started by Oak Ridge National Laboratories and from 1965 to 1969 the 7.4 MWt test reactor were operated. In Molten-Salt Reactors the liquid fuels were used instead of solid fuel rods and the heat produced from this reactor is converted into electricity. The Nuclear Molten-Salt Reactor can produce electricity without emitting CO2. This Molten-Salt Reactors were highly safe since, it is molten by design. Unlike energy produced from sun and wind this Molten-Salt reactor doesn’t relay and weather and one of the major advantage in this Molten-Salt Reactor is that they cannot explode. This Nuclear Molten-Salt Reactor cost less than water-cooled reactor and were considered to run on thorium.
3. Hydrogen Producing Algae
Hydrogen Producing Algae is a light dependent natural energy production process by algae. The Chlamydomonas reinhardtii is a kind of algae used in this process. The process involved in this Hydrogen Producing Algae is done in a closed photo-bioreactor in which the water is split into electrons, hydrogen ions and oxygen in the presence of sunlight. The three forms of producing hydrogen through algae includes gasification, biochemical process and through stream reformation of methane. The major advantage of this process is that algae can grow 20 to 30 times faster than other food crops and it contain 30 time more fuel than bio-fuel source such as soybean, palm, canola and many more. Hydrogen Producing Algae is non toxic, eco-friendly, cheap and safe.

Quantum Smart Grids is an electronic smart grid which is used to produce renewable energy in concurrence with computer system. Smart Grids is nothing but network of computers that communicate with each other to form quantum network. The series of computers placed in the quantum network to encode and decode information in the physical system is known as Quantum communication. The physical information in the quantum system is referred as Quantum information were ‘qubit’ is the basic unit of quantum information. Solar Panel Maintenance Drones is a high-tech equipment for cleaning, inspecting and maintaining the solar panels in the solar farm. These Drones were designed to clean dust and dirt from the surface of panel. These Drones boast features such as thermal imaging camera, sensor, GPS, specialized brushes and much more. This self flying can fly up to 50 mph and it can also reach altitude of 120 meters. These drones comes with minimum 15 GB storage and also with Wi-Fi connection. The major advantage of using this drones in solar panels is that it will reduce the maintenance cost and increase power generation in solar farms. These self cleaning robots can clean 10 MW panels in 10 hours which is 10 times faster than traditional cleaning method.
8. Lithium Ion Battery/Solar Panel Grids
Lithium Ion Battery/Solar Panel Grids is a rechargeable Smart Battery. This Lithium Ion Batteries were used in Solar Panel Grids for storing energy. The three types of lithium ion batteries were pouches, cylindrical and prismatic. The Prismatic Lithium Ion Batteries were commonly used in Solar panel grids. The Lithium Ion Battery is nothing but interconnection cells were each cell consist of 3.2 volt. In Solar panels the 48 volt Lithium Ion Batteries were used. A Solar farm with 65 cm width, 130 cm height and 50 cm deep will relay on 4-10 KW Lithium Ion Battery. These technology boast features such as maintenance free, 95% of high charge/discharge efficiency, extended life cycle, fast charging, climatic resistance and much more.
9. Waste Powered Fuel Cells
Waste Powered Fuel Cells is the process of generating electricity from bio waste. M.C.Potter from the University of Durham in 1911 invented the idea of obtaining energy from bacteria. The Waste Powered Fuel Cells produce electricity with the help of bacteria and bio waste is a fast growing green energy technology. The fuel cell that consist of two electrodes in an electrolyte solution connected by wire and anode has bacteria growing on it that produce electricity and the waste produced in this process were totally organic.
